Jonah – The Deep Love of God

Long before Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,…” the LORD told Jonah, “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it…” the story of Jonah has long been a favorite story as one of the most vivid narratives in the Bible. It is a favorite children’s story because it is the story of the big fish. For adults, it is a picture of Jonah’s flight from God and his inability to reconcile the Lord’s justice with His mercy. Come and journey from depths of the sea to the gates of a city lost in sin as we seek to discover the deep love of God.
