Meets: North West Frisco in the vicinity of Legacy Dr. and Lebanon Rd. Contact leader for meeting times.
Leader: Chuck is a native Floridian, graduated Wheaton College (IL) with degrees in Philosophy and Speech Communication, served four years in the US Army in artillery and transportation, and earned his M.B.A. from Boston University and his M.Div. from Redeemer Theological Seminary. Over the past 40 years, Chuck has served in the US Army, taught college, worked in both corporate and church staff positions, and currently presides over Morgan Legacy Group, a goals achievement company he started 17 years ago.
Chuck submitted to God’s call on his life during vacation bible school at age 10. With a few bumps along the way, Chuck has continued to grow in his knowledge of the Lord, describing his journey as putting one foot in front of the other, always with the Lord’s help, “only because that’s where I could see to put it and not because I was particularly smart.”
Chuck and Carol have been married 29 years and have two grown sons and a granddaughter.
Chuck’s ministry involvement at CCCF goes back to the days when we were only three home groups that came together every other week for a devotional in one of Frisco’s parks. Among the founding members, Chuck was ordained and installed with two others as CCCF’s first elders. He has served in the nursery, taught Sunday school, led youth group Bible studies, led in discipleship, led worship, and preached several times.

Leader: Rick was born in Sisseton, SD, and moved to Hayfield, MN, when he was 12. I am blessed my parents were believers. I was baptized and confirmed in the American Lutheran Church (now the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) and held many positions as President and member of the Church Council at various churches, Sunday School teacher, and Stephen Minister among other positions.
I can’t remember when I didn’t believe but my belief was solidified when, beginning in 1998, I attended Bible Study Fellowship for 11 years, 6 as a discussion leader, and from the preaching and teaching at Ft Worth PCA which we joined in 2003. I was ordained deacon in 2007 and served on the Mercy and Finance Committees, and as Disaster Response Chair, Hearts and Hammers Leader, Treasurer, and Small Group Leader.
I graduated from South Dakota State University and was commissioned a 2Lt in the USAF in 1968 and received my Master’s degree from St Cloud (MN) State University in 1969. I retired as a Lt Colonel in 1992 in San Antonio after 23 years of service. I was a financial advisor for 17 years until I retired in 2009. In July 2010, I was called as the Disaster Response Specialist for the South Central Region for Mission to North America, Presbyterian Church in America and have served at disaster sites in AL, IA, IL, LA, MO. OK and TX. I am also Chair, North TX Presbytery Disaster Response Subcommittee. I also served as Chair, Organizing Committee for PCA’s Mercy Conference in 2015.

Leader: Ron Quidatano was born in 1967 in Camp Springs, Maryland (Andrews Airforce Base). When Ron’s father got out of the Navy in 1969, he moved his family to Cleveland, Ohio to be near family. In 1973, Ron’s father transferred with his company to San Jose, California where the family lived until Ron was in the 9th grade at which time they relocated back to Ohio where Ron completed high school at St. Edward High School and college at Miami University with a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance Major). Upon graduation from college in 1990, Ron accepted a job with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Dallas, Texas.
Ron met his wife Kristin in Dallas, Texas in 1994 and they were married in July 1995. While “unequally yoked” at marriage, God displayed His great love, mercy and grace and saved Ron in a miraculous way in August 1997. Ron and Kristin have 6 children and live in Celina, Texas.
Ron has been in IT for nearly 30 years and has spent the last 20+ years in the healthcare industry. Ron is currently an Executive Vice President at Sentrics.
Since becoming a Christian in 1997, Ron has been served roles in Small Group leadership, Youth Ministry, Men’s Discipleship, Sunday School, short term missions and completed classes at Westminster Theological Seminary (Dallas, Texas) in 2003-2004. Ron and his family left Trinity Presbyterian Church in April 2015 to follow Patrick Poteet in his calling to CCCF.

Leader: Brent Van’t Land was born in Arlington, Texas in 1995 where he lived his whole life until leaving his parents ‘nest’ for college. Growing up he attended Arlington Presbyterian.
Church and Fort Worth Presbyterian church where he was active in the youth groups, short term missions and other ways of serving. He attended high school at Pantego Christina Academy and then started college originally at LeTourneau University, but ultimately finished school at Texas State with a degree in Construction Science and Management
Brent and Krista met while at school their freshman year, becoming first best friends and then falling in love. Both enjoying their time together in college, they got married in November 2018 right as they were both graduating.
After graduation, they both desired to move to DFW to be closer to family again. Brent was thankful for the Lord’s provision on his life as God provided an opportunity to make this happen. Perry Homes (who he had interned with) offered him a job as a Construction Manager in the Dallas division rather than keeping him in San Antonio in the division he had been working in. Loving this opportunity, the young couple jumped at the chance to move and start their new lives together!
Moving to McKinney in January of 2019, they started looking at churches and tried out a few different ones. Eventually they found CCCF, loving the community and have enjoyed attending ever since.
