First Time Visitors Q & A

Q. What time does service start?

A. 10:30 a.m. (This service is also streamed).

Q. When should I arrive?

A. About 10 minutes early inorder to be greeted and get settled ready to worship.

Q. Where do you meet?

A. 9250 Pasadena Drive. Suite 100, Frisco, TX. We are behind Hutchins BBQ in the southwest corner of the center facing Pasadena Drive. There are 2 churches that meet in the same area at around the same time. “100” is above our doors.

Q. What do I wear?

A. Whatever you are comfortable in. We have people who wear jackets and some who wear T-Shirts and jeans. The most common thing you will see is people in Polo’s and Dress tops.

Q. What about my kids?

A. We have nursery for newborn – 4 years old. Of course, they are welcome to sit with you in service. Starting at around 4 they transition to Children’s Church through 2nd Grade. Children’s church meets during the sermon and they are dismissed before the sermon. 3rd Grade and up typically sit in service so they can begin to learn how to be in community with the church. We have special children’s bulletins for them to work through. Don’t worry if they wiggle, we love the wiggles, so no worries if your kids have them. Mine do too!

Q. Who is watching my kids?

A. All volunteers go through "Ministry Safe" training, background checks, and are very capable of working with your kids.

Q. What about Music?

A. We do everything from Hymns to new songs! There won’t be a light show or fog machine, but there will be a gifted worship team with various instruments  that leads us in song to the Lord.

Q. What is the sermon like?

A. We do expository preaching. This starts with the Bible and pulls out truths that it has for us today.

Q. Do you serve communion?

A. Every week. Visitors are welcome to participate if they are currently a member of another church body and/or have recognized Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Q. What are the people like?

A. We are a community at Christ Community. We love each other and invest in each other’s lives. If you want a friend, this is the place for you.

Q. What are the demographics like?

A. We are pretty similar to the demographics of Frisco. You will find kids, teenagers, young adults, families and retirees.

Q. What's a Presbyterian?

A. A Presbyterian is a Christian first and foremost. We love Jesus like many other denominations and even partner with them in many areas. Our theology is rooted in scripture and can be summarily understood in the Westminster Standards. Our church is governed by elders as elected by the congregation.
