Summer Psalms 2024

The Book of Psalms is a collection of lyric poems that were originally sung and recited liturgically in worship. You might say it was the hymnbook of Israel. One of the things the psalms do is express a full arrange of emotions and reflections of the believing soul. John Calvin even called the Psalter, “an anatomy of all the parts of the soul.” As we study various Psalms the next several weeks during our Summer Psalms series, we want to hear & experience the feelings and the reflections of the various authors and consider how they touch our soul.
