What are We to Make of Halloween?
October 28, 2009 | 2 Comments
As Halloween is getting closer and closer, I find myself getting asked more and more questions about how we as Christians should properly approach this holiday.
In a nutshell, as with all things, we should look at this through the lens of Scripture. Many parts of Scripture clearly condemn much of what Halloween was originally rooted in, such as channeling spirits and glorifying death. However, there is so much attention being given to it in our culture that I do not believe that we can ignore it all together in any responsible way.
Rather than reinvent the wheel, I encourage you to read Tim Challies' post from a few years ago on this issue; it sums up my thoughts quite well. And, as all ways, your feedback and interaction is welcomed.

Interesting and informative. But will you write about this one more?
