Jamie Peterson - Pastor

Born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on July 24, 1972, Jamie is married to the former Michelle Brandon of Memphis, Tennessee. They are also the proud parents of four wonderful children: Corbin (2/1/03), Davis (6/13/04), Anne Mae (2/19/08) and Jack (11/23/09).

Jamie attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where he was a four-year letterman on the football team and graduated with a B.S. in Public Administration in 1995. Jamie also earned the Master of Divinity degree from Birmingham Theological Seminary (2001) and the Master of Theology degree from Covenant Theological Seminary (2005). Before moving to Frisco, Jamie served as a youth director at Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama (1995-1998), the youth director (1998-2002) and associate pastor (2002-2003) at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cullman, Alabama, and as an assistant pastor at Faith Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama (2004-2008).

In his spare time Jamie enjoys playing with his kids, golfing, reading, watching football, and good theological conversation.

AJ Swanson - Director of Youth and Children

Born in Sarasota, FL on October 15^, 1985, AJ is married to Corrie of Auburn, IN. 

AJ attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received his B.A. in Theatre in 2008.  During that time he began to volunteer with the youth group at his church and found his calling.  AJ later attended Southern Evangelical Seminary where he received his Masters of Religion in 2011.  Before moving to Frisco, AJ was a world history and Bible teacher at Grace Academy in Matthews, NC.  He is also a former teen program director for the YMCA, and has organized and spoken at Apologetics conferences along the East coast.

In his spare time AJ enjoys, writing, reading, a quick wit, some good coffee, a good game (board or field), and hanging out with people.
